Welcome to A Pet Lover's Sitting Service, where your pet's comfort and well-being are my top priorities. Founded by Tina Dehart, my journey started with a deep concern for the happiness and health of my two dogs.
After witnessing the distressing conditions of traditional dog kennels and dog boarding facilities while searching for a safe place to dog board my two beloved pugs (yes that's them in the picture) for my first vacation as a dog owner, I knew there had to be a better alternative to traditional dog boarding and pet kenneling facilities. The sight of animals confined in cages for extended periods broke my heart, and I couldn't fathom dropping my dogs off at one of these dog boarding facilities. Many of the dogs were clearly distressed and anxious and the volume of barking was disturbing.
Thus, A Pet Lover's Sitting Service was born. Pet Sitting at that time was a very new concept and I was one of only a handful of Pet Sitters in Katy and I am still providing Pet Sitting along with dog boarding and dog daycare after 20 years! I believe in home pet sitting and in home dog boarding offers a superior solution to the stress and anxiety experienced by pets in unfamiliar environments. Every pet owner deserves peace of mind when they need to be away, whether for a short or long trip or extended periods of work.
